Lyrics

[verse]
Old Jonah heard the voice of God to preach the word on foreign sod.
But Jonah zipped his lip & did it well.
He jumped a boat & sailed away & said I’ll preach another day.
But changed his tune when swallowed by a whale.

[Chorus]
He knows (He knows)
where I go what I say (He knows)
Oh my Lord he knows (He knows)
how long I stay. (He knows how long I stay)
Every move (He knows)
I make, (He knows)
every step (He knows)
I take (He knows)
in & out (O my Lord)
Head to toe (Yes my Lord)
He knows.
(He knows, He knows, He knows, He knows)
He knows.
(He knows, He knows, He knows, He knows)

Now you may be like Jonah friend you think you’ll run on to the end.
But soon the end will come oh don’t you know? (He knows you know)
You cannot out run the voice of God no matter where your feet may trod.
He’ll point out where you’ll hide because he knows.
